One of the more charming episodes of Paul’s ShowBiz years was a project to bring Yogi Bear to the showroom as an animatronic character. Paul worked on the early character design and project development with Jul Kamen, ShowBiz’s costume-support manager.
Community histories report test installations at a handful of locations — Omaha, Nebraska; Colorado Springs, Colorado; and Augusta, Georgia — where the converted show could be evaluated in front of real audiences before any wider rollout.
